Departure from Sapa Town โ meet your English-speaking local guide in Sapa Town before a short mountain transfer to the trailhead above Lao Chai Village. From here, your Sapa trekking journey begins with panoramic views across the rice terraces and mountain landscapes of Muong Hoa Valley.

Trekking through Lao Chai Valley โ begin descending along quiet hillside trails winding through layered rice terraces toward Lao Chai, one of the largest Black Hmong villages in the valley. Along the way, your guide shares insight into local farming traditions, mountain life, and everyday life in the communities that have lived here for generations.

Riverside Walk to Ta Van Village โ continue trekking beside the river toward Ta Van, a peaceful Giay ethnic village surrounded by bamboo groves, terraced fields, and traditional village houses. This slower section of the trek offers beautiful valley scenery and a closer look at local village life beyond Sapa's busiest tourist routes.

Home-Cooked Lunch with a Local Family โ enjoy a traditional home-cooked lunch with a local Giay family in Ta Van Village. Share a quiet moment in the mountains while experiencing local hospitality, seasonal dishes, and the slower pace of everyday life in the valley.

Giang Ta Chai Village & Hidden Waterfall โ after lunch, continue trekking toward Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao village known for its forest trails, suspension bridges, and hidden waterfall surrounded by dense mountain scenery. Your guide will introduce the traditions of the Red Dao people and the unique way of life that continues in this part of Sapa today.

Return to Sapa Town โ your trekking experience finishes in Giang Ta Chai Village, where your driver will meet you for the comfortable return journey back to Sapa Town.
